A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped and stabbed to death in Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar by four accused, including three minors. Police said the girl knew the accused and had gone to meet one of them before they allegedly travelled together in a tempo and consumed alcohol.

Her body was found on September 13 in an open field near Jaipal Rana’s field on Kushak Road. The body was severely decomposed, with parts reportedly eaten by stray dogs and one hand found separated. A medical examination confirmed sexual assault, while multiple stab wounds were found. (NDTV)

Police analysed more than 50 CCTV cameras and traced the tempo to Khadda Colony, leading to the apprehension of four suspects. Two knives, clothes allegedly worn during the crime and the tempo were recovered. The investigation is continuing.
