Our Comment on this-
The activities and statements of Usman reflect the true character of Indian Muslims and their unwavering commitment to building a brighter future for our motherland.
History will remember Brigadier Mohammad Usman as a proud son of India, loyal to the very soil on which he was born. He did not merely die; he attained martyrdom (Shahadat) while fulfilling the oath he had taken upon joining the Indian Army.** He laid down his life in the service of the nation, upholding his duty, honour, and commitment to his motherland. His supreme sacrifice stands as a powerful reminder that patriotism transcends religion.
Yet, it is deeply unfortunate that Indian Muslims continue to face communal hatred and accusations of disloyalty from communal forces, including the BJP, Bajrang Dal, RSS, and others.
Questioning the patriotism of Indian Muslims is not merely an injustice to a community; it is a grave disservice to the nation itself. Indian Muslims are an inseparable part of India’s history, identity, and future. Their sacrifices, contributions, and loyalty to the motherland deserve recognition, dignity, and respect.
The missing inscription bearing the name and title of this great soldier at his grave must be restored without delay. It is deeply distressing that the word “*Tiger of Naushera*” is missing from his own resting place. Such an omission must be rectified at the earliest. Allowing it to remain uncorrected would be a matter of shame not only for the armed forces but also for the entire nation, which owes an eternal debt of gratitude to this valiant son of India.
A nation grows stronger through unity, justice, equality, and mutual respect—not through communal hatred, prejudice, and division.
Our heartfelt Salam and deepest respect to Shaheed Brigadier Mohammad Usman, the immortal Tiger of Naushera.
May his supreme sacrifice continue to inspire generations of Indians to serve the nation with courage, honour, and unwavering loyalty.
