Rahmah Foundation Tailoring School Reopens at Gorolia, Shymnagar

Empowering Girls Through Tailoring and Skill Development
Rahmah Foundation is pleased to announce the reopening of its Tailoring School at Gorolia (Shymnagar), North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, with a renewed commitment to empowering young girls and women through practical skill development.
The centre provides tailoring and stitching training to girls, enabling them to acquire a valuable vocational skill that can help them become self-reliant, financially independent and confident. Through this initiative, Rahmah Foundation aims to create opportunities for girls from underprivileged communities to develop their skills and build a better future for themselves and their families.
Women’s empowerment is not only about education—it is also about providing women with the skills, opportunities and confidence to earn a dignified livelihood. A trained girl can become a skilled tailor, start working from home, establish her own small enterprise, or contribute to her family’s income.
The reopening of the centre marks another step in Rahmah Foundation’s continuing efforts towards education, vocational training, poverty alleviation and the social and economic empowerment of women.
Our vision is simple: Skill a girl, empower a woman, strengthen a family and build a better community.
May Allah bless this initiative and make it a means of creating sustainable livelihoods and a brighter future for many girls and women. Ameen.
